SENIOR HISTOLOGIST/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST – HBC207
As Senior Histologist/Technical Specialist you will undertake and/or supervise various histological procedures, especially immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization.
A minimum of five years working knowledge of immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and automated histotechnology in a clinical laboratory is essential.
The successful candidate must have a minimum B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Sciences (or a related subject) and hold MLT and ART (or equivalent) designations. The incumbent will have superior writing skills and be highly motivated, flexible and thrive in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have published his/her work in scientific journals and/or presented their data at scientific meetings.
